three facts

a friendly little reminder

 - fact 1 -
at top speed, snails cover a mere 3 inches per minute.

- fact 2 -
on sunday, two pesky snails played in front of us for 18 holes.

- fact 3 -
i took the below photo as evidence of their remarkable human costumes.
away from the speed at which they moved
(approximately 3 inches per minute),
they were entirely indistinguishable from real-live humans!

two snails on the green (and i made an infinity sign)

  1. I feel you are not giving snails enough credit. i did some research (true story) and learned 1) a snail can live 25 years 2) snails are hermaphrodites 3)one time there was a snail that weighed 2 lbs and 15 oz.

  2. - i had a snail in my 6th grade science class

    - its name was escargot

    - at one point it had ~ 100 babies

    - i spilled the terrarium escargot lived in and was finding baby snails around my bedroom for a year

  3. I like your use of "it" to properly classify escargot, as it was neither a he nor a she (reference: snail-world.com).
